Purpose of the thorn:

This thorn shows how to hookup a resource selector tool into Cactus.
SimpleWorm provides a function database, which stores function pointers 
with a keyword. This is used to store a function called MF_Grads 
under the name "grads".

When a user sets the SimpleWorm's parameter mf_method="grads", the function
registered with that keyword will be called: MF_Grads.
